Onedome is an interactive hub of collaboration that uniquely immerses visitors in interactive arts and entertainment. The 20,000 square foot space, free and open to the public, contains everything from a café with mocktails to opportunities to create your own visual artwork.
As a visitor, one can travel through interactive exhibits that offer a uniquely immersive experience which questions the bounds of reality, eat gourmet snacks and artful drinks at the alcohol-free café known as the Elixart, walk around in the mixed reality wonderland that is The Unreal Garden, and enjoy a 5-course meal at F.E.A.S.T.
Onedome is currently housing some from French artists in its little "oasis" on Market Street. Vincent Houzé is a Parisian artist living in New York who uses his training in computer science and graphic design to create interactive art. His work entitled Fluid Structure is being displayed at Onedome. It shows how a shape can be ever-changing in response to various stimuli that break it down into different forms.
In addition, Serge Beaulieu, an artist with ten years of training and experience as an industrial designer, paired up with Yelena Filipchuk to create HYBYCOZO, which stands for "Hyperspace Bypass Construction Zone", a series of artworks and installations that look at how math, technology, and science intersect with material, light, shadow, and perception.
